Leadership & Board
Grace Blanket is guided by leaders with deep expertise in aging services, public health, nonprofit management, and community development. Our board provides strategic oversight and governance to ensure we fulfill our mission responsibly.
Executive Leadership
Mike Kwak
Founder & Executive Director
Mike founded Grace Blanket in 2017 to bridge the gap between evidence-based wellness programs and the older adults who need them. With a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Wright State University and over 30 years of entrepreneurial and business experience in San Diego, he brings a unique perspective to nonprofit leadership — combining technical understanding of health outcomes with practical business operations.
As founder and executive director, Mike oversees strategic direction, government and foundation funder relationships, community provider recruitment, and program quality accountability. His background in biomedical engineering informs his approach to evidence-based programs and outcomes measurement.
